We get to live in a pretty awesome place.  We can walk out of our front door and go on a hike on some of the most amazing trails in the world.  People come from all over to hike them and we get to do them on a whim on a Saturday morning.

Tomales Bay

I love winter break.  I don't want it to end.  But, it does tomorrow.  I love spending my days with the kids now.  We have had some amazing days - lots of hikes, a museum, ice skating, and other adventures. I don't want the kids to go back to school.  Have I ever said that before?

 

Ringing in 2015

2015 ALREADY.  I can't believe it. This year, it will be:
-36 years since Dave and I were born
-18 years since we graduated high school
-15 years since Maia was born and we adopted her
-12 years since we graduated college
-9 years since we got married
-8 years since Ava was born
-4 years since Arlo was born (albeit late in the year!)

We have known these folks for almost 8 years...and love them more each year!  We were lucky to ring in the New Year with them.
