Many people do not know that Sri Lanka used to be called Ceylon. Home of Ceylon tea. It used to be world's largest exporter of tea, but Kenya has since passed it. We visited a tea plantation while there. The owner is somewhat of a who's who in Sri Lanka. And, likely corrupt. He was also the Uncle of the people who owned our villa. So, yup, even more likely he was a criminal. We enjoyed the day anyway! And, Gary was with us...all the more fun!
