Renaissance Island

Isn't it hard to believe we left a place that looks like this?  Seems like you could live here forever, right?  Well, we did love it and while it was spectacular, 4 months was enough extreme sun and 90 degree weather for me for a little while. Renaissance Island is the private island of the Renaissance hotel in Oranjestad and it is a great little relaxing place.  We got access because Lizzie was staying there - thanks Lizzie!  The craziest part was the flamingos there and the hundreds of hermit crabs - seriously, I haven't seen that many hermit crabs ever.  It was cool.
